This article provides information on why you can’t see the referrer’s referral for the account in the Opportunities/Referrals view.
This is functioning as design. When an account is in Open Account status, it is no longer an Opportunity and won't be visible in the Opportunity view; It is a new account open, and it can be confirmed by checking the referrals report.
You can confirm the status of the referral by looking for the account of the customer, and checking the status of the account.
- In this case, the account is no longer an opportunity.
- However, the remaining accounts in the Opportunity view will show the accounts that are still not open (or Open Lead) and don't have an account number.
