Why Scanner PC is not recognising the Separator Page or Bar Code?

Overview

When scanning on the new Scanner PC, you find that it is not separating the invoices by the bar code page. You want to configure the Bar Code and Path Code settings in the SCIscan Setup options, but those are greyed out in the Setup dropdown.

Please test Bar code in Kofax by following the article Bar Code Recognition Testing using VCDemo.

Raise a ticket directly with Kofax support with the test results and the following information:

  • What is the VRS serial number activated?
  • What is the VRS scanner source selected?
