Paycheck stubs not being delivered to employees' email inboxes

Overview

You have tried multiple times sending electronic paycheck stubs to your employees but nothing is being delivered to their email inboxes.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the SQL Server Management Studio

Solution

This issue could be caused by the 'Mailer_CortPayroll' SQL job failing to run in the server. To confirm the issue, follow the steps below:

  1. Open SQL Server Management Studio and navigate to the CORT Server 'Log File Viewer' and click on the 'Job history' box.

  2. Find the 'Mailer_CortPayroll' job and check the 'Date' field to confirm it has not run for a long time.

  3. Restart the SQL Server for fixing the affected job.
