Slow Kofax Invoice Imports When Connecting Through VPN

Overview

Users are experiencing slow Kofax imports of invoices when connecting from a browser on their PC to Computron web applications over a VPN. A high CPU usage (100%) and low memory usage are detected on the Computron application server. Rebooting the server has not led to an increase in performance.

Endpoint protection, such as the Palo Alto Cortex Agent, is known to produce slow importing of invoices in Kofax, even when the antivirus has been disabled or is being bypassed in the application server. Therefore, it is recommended that endpoint protection be disabled from the application server to prevent performance issues.
