You would like to know if your database backups can be removed or whether they should be kept temporarily because you are moving/changing your Optibot backup setup.

Information

SupportSoft does not work directly with database backups; they are not required for SupportSoft to function. Any database backups that you have are managed and retained by the customer in case of a disaster. SupportSoft has no preference over how you store the backups or how you perform that process as long as they can be restored accordingly to the database server when needed.
