Overview
Windows Vista and 7 clients with Deep Freeze installed are not transitioning to sleep when the Hybrid Sleep is Enabled.
Root Cause
Hybrid sleep is enabled.
Environment
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
Resolution
To solve this issue, disable hybrid sleep in Windows Vista or Windows 7. You can set this option through the scheme settings in Surveyor 5.5 and Surveyor 6.
- On the Verdiem menu
, click Power Schemes. - Select the scheme and then click the Advanced Settings tab.
- On the Allow hybrid sleep setting, select Disable.
Validation
After saving the settings, hybrid sleep is disabled and the issue will no longer occur.
