This article proves a general overview of the Dashboard and Analytics Reports in Surveyor 6.

Information

• Dashboard and Analytics Reports in Surveyor provide you with views of device data from many different angles. Surveyor's reporting functionality uses a world-class business intelligence (BI) engine, powered by Information Builders, a leading BI provider.
  
  
• The Dashboard reports include high-level information on energy consumption, cost savings, and carbon equivalent savings over time across the enterprise.
  
  
• These built-in operational, usage, and savings reports show data on power states of PCs (personal computers) across the enterprise, the average total of hours that PCs spend in each power state daily, and how that usage is trending over time.
  
  
• You must run data summarization for data to be available in reports.
  
  
• You can view device data based on location, group, or policy.
  
  IMPORTANT! The default system currency is U.S. Dollars (USD). If you want to change the system currency, make sure that you choose a currency before you start summarizing data and setting up locations and energy rates and that you keep the same system currency in place going forward. Changing the system currency at a later date can affect historical data and many data calculations and settings throughout the Surveyor system.
  
  
• On the Verdiem menu, click Analytics or Dashboards to view reports.
