Overview

This article describes the way users can determine which version they are running on both the Surveyor 6 server and Client.

Resolution

The easiest way to find both the server and client versions is through the Surveyor Administrator console.

Finding the Surveyor Server Version

1. In the Administrator Console, go to the Verdiem menu and click About.
2. The version information for the server and other components is displayed as in the example below:
   
   

Finding the Surveyor Client Version

To see the client version, you can add a column to the information shown in the Administrator Console.

1. In the Administrator Console, go to the Verdiem menu and click the Devices.
2. Navigate to the group that contains the clients you want to view. If the client version column appears in the view, look at that column for the client you want. If the client version column is not included in the view, follow the below steps to add the column.
   
   
   1. In the Devices page, click Customize View.
   2. Click the Troubleshooting tab, and then select the Client Version option.
   3. Click Save.
