Known G2 Issue - Misaligned Grid Views in TWNG v13.0 Rev. 2 in 2020.2 and 2020.4 64-bit

Overview

This article addresses an issue in G2 2020.2 and 2020.4 64-bit that causes a misalignment of one or more of the grid views when displaying a window with multiple grid rows (see Diagram 1).

• The problem currently occurs in Linux 64-bit 2020.2 and 2020.4.
• The problem currently occurs with TWNG v13.0 Rev. 2, built WF30, Win 10.
• The problem is known to intermittently occur - (e.g. 1 in 10 or 15 clicks).
• This issue is not due to Windows font/metrics or the server's operating system.

Solution

Workaround: Moving to the latest version of G2 directly resolves this known G2 issue. The latest version can be downloaded by following the instructions outlined in this KB article.

Testing

The grid views should no longer be misaligned, per Diagram 1 above.
