"An unknown error happened" When Logging In To FirstRain


You cannot access the FirstRain app encountering an unknown error message.

This issue may happen when your company account under FirstRain has been deactivated.


Reach out to your company administrator to check if your team has stopped using FirstRain or is still using the app under another account.

If your organization is still using our application from another company account, ask the administrator to create a new user for you under the correct account.



  1. From FirstRain, open the Administration section.


  2. Search for the user using their email.
  3. If the Account column has ZZZZ, it means that the company account has been deactivated long ago - the user should reach out to their company administrator to see if they are using FirstRain under another company account.


    • Additionally, you may search for the customer's email domain (e.g., @hpe.com) to see if there are any active users under another company account (without ZZZZ).
