Acrobat Restarts After Every Processed Job

Issue

When jobs have proceeded in a watching mode Acrobat restarts after every proceeded job.

Environment

Self-hosted production, Adobe Acrobat with installed Olive XMD plugin.

Audience

Agent-Only, Customers with self-hosted production.

Root Cause

Limitation of XMD to avoid memory leaks.

Resolution

Adobe Acrobat has a 4GB memory limit, so it can reach it and crashes. To avoid memory leaks issues, there are definitions in the Olive XMD plugin to restart Acrobat after each job.
