Overview

With ActivePaper Publisher installed on Acrobat 8, the user cannot use the Olive right-click options.

The user is unable to select primitives, and when the user tries to right-click the Acrobat right-click menu appears and not the Olive one.

Resolution

Acrobat 8, when initially installed, defaults to "Multi-Document Interface" (MDI) - this mode is incompatible with Olive Publisher functionality.

To switch Acrobat 8 to SDI ("Single Document Interface"):

1. Go to Edit > Preferences > Documents

2. Uncheck "Show each document in its own window".

3. Click OK.

4. Restart Acrobat.
