Overview

This article describes how to download the eEdition of a publication (e-edition newspaper or magazine) as a PDF through APA (Active Paper Archive) or ODN ( Olive Dynamic Newsstand) using the 'clip' feature. 

Process

1. Launch the e-edition and browse to the article you want to download.

2. Follow the steps below to access the Clip button depending on the application you are using:

   Warning: If the clip button is not visible or greyed out, it may be disabled. Please contact the publisher to have it enabled.

   • APA (Active Paper Archive)

     Click on the scissors icon (Clip) and adjust the window to surround the article and click the green checkmark when ready.

     

   • ODN (Olive Dynamic Newsstand)

     Click on the Download button to launch the menu, then click Clip page. Adjust the window to surround the article and click the green checkmark when ready, in the same way as the screenshot above.

     

3. Click the Print button on the 'clip image'.

   Note: You can also Copy the article to the clipboard, or right-click on the article and select save image as.. to download the article in other formats.

   

4. Select Save as PDF or select your preferred PDF printer.
