Overview
This article describes the solution when a user is unable to export PDF report documents due to the following error:
ERROR: The report was not found in the reports repository. Check your workstation and global
report repository settings to make sure they are pointing to the correct folder.
Solution
- If your setup has a separate repository per location, ensure the user has all security permissions for the repository the account belongs to.
-
Check the settings under:
File | Setup | Preferences | Workstation Settings | General | Reports Settings
Ensure the settings are the same as for a working workstation. (Your database server\Reports folder)
- Reset the report menus by doing the following:
File | Setup | Preferences | Workstation Settings | Interface tab | Reset Report Menus - Enable the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings for Essential Windows programs and services only or excluding the Everest application from Windows Data Execution Prevention by following the steps outlined in the solution section of this article.
Testing
The user should be able to export PDF report documents for any account under their repository without errors. However, if the issue persists after the above interventions, submit a support request for further investigation.
