Updating Email Address for Account

Overview


You may need to change the email address for a user account so that daily emails with news and insights were sent to the new mailbox.



Solution

  • To change an email for your account, follow the steps below:
    1. From the FirstRain app, click on your name and select Account Settings.

    2. In the Send Email Briefs to Different Address field, enter the desired email address.

    3. Click Save Changes.
      Once your email address is updated, the following message should be displayed at the top of the page:
      Account settings updated successfully.

  • To update email for another user account as Administrator, follow the steps below:
    1. Open the Administration section.

    2. Find the required account using their previous email or name.
    3. Click Actions and select Edit.

    4. Enter the new email address for the user and click Update.
      The following message will be displayed at the top of the page:
      User updated successfully.

      Note: This action will change only the email address used to send daily emails. The username of the account will remain the same as the previously used email - it can be changed only by the FirstRain support team.
