This release introduces several key fixes that enhance the effectiveness and reliability of the Everest Standard application.

Bugfixes

The following defects have been addressed in the release:

EVCID-10891: Fixed an issue with incoming HTML emails containing embedded images not showing correctly.
EVCID-10887: Corrected saving issues for HTML emails to prevent corrupted data.
EVCID-9699: Resolved problems with the POS return process where quantities were not carried over correctly.
EVCID-10702: The Save button in the W2 Form is now enabled upon first creation.
EVCID-10709: Ensured that a consistent sound is played when committing an item with a wrong barcode.

Known Issues

Some known issues still remain:

Everest Email configured via POP3 incorrectly processes images embedded in emails.
Emails sent from Everest Email (configured via MAPI) may show an invalid 'from' field to the recipient.

Magento eCommerce Integration

The Magento Connector is developed to support integration with the Everest System. Ensure proper installation of the Connector on the Everest Server along with deployment on the Magento system.

Installation Instructions

To install or upgrade to Everest Standard v8.0.8, create a Zendesk ticket for download credentials or to schedule installation with the Managed Upgrade team. A clean install is required for this version, and appropriate licensing information should be obtained beforehand.
