Introduction
We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Head Office 8.9.2.
Summary
This release includes 14 fixes and 12 new features, addressing customer reported issues alongside internally identified problems. We strive to deliver the highest quality in our software releases through rigorous testing.
New Features
- PROLOGICCID-1054: Form CV15 is enhanced to define security levels at both form and block level.
- PROLOGICCID-1259: Form CV5Z improvements include highlighted current theme, tooltips on buttons, delete confirmation prompts, and double-click functionality to edit themes.
- PROLOGICCID-1472: Enhanced look and feel on form CV1J, with split fields for Report and Layout, and filtering of layouts based on selected report.
- PROLOGICCID-1473: Expanded name fields on the Task and Queue tabs for better visibility.
- PROLOGICCID-1485: Users can now log in to tills across multiple stores with fewer restrictions through a null Store option.
- PROLOGICCID-1626: Aligns VAT calculations between Store6 and CIMS to maintain consistent figures across multiple purchases.
Bug Fixes
- PROLOGICCID-1253: Resolved daemon performance issues affecting ADC.
- PROLOGICCID-1285: Fixed a login issue when the user password contained a '$' character.
- PROLOGICCID-1323: Addressed privileges error during ODBC user account management.
- PROLOGICCID-1434: Improved exception handling to avoid masking real errors.
- PROLOGICCID-1522: Fixed formatting issues in DE75 reports, including incorrect page numbers and calculation errors.
- PROLOGICCID-1619: Enhanced control and validation for barcode records on tills to prevent duplicates during batch printing.
- PROLOGICCID-1629: Solved timeout issues that caused CIMS crashes during large data operations.
Additional Enhancements
Each of the reporting features has been implemented using Oracle BIP technology, ensuring robust performance and compatibility.
Known Issues
Issues such as performance delays, reporting inconsistencies, and others have been logged for future prioritization and resolution.
Release Details
