Introduction
We are happy to share the release notes for the Performance Analyzer 5G | Acorn Advanced Analytics Version 3 PA5G | AAAv3 2016.6.
Summary
This release is focused on improving quality and stability, addressing multiple issues reported by users, and enhancing functionality.
Platforms Supported
- Database Server: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (with Service Pack 2), Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (with Service Pack 1).
- Application Server: Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2012 R2/2016.
- Client Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 7 (with Service Pack 2), Windows 8.1 (Update 2), Windows 10.
- Web Browsers: Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox v35 or newer.
Resolved Issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release:
- ACID-1530: Having read-only access to PA5G gives user Admin access to AAA.
- ACID-3911: Configuration Tool compatibility issues on SQL Server 2012 & 2014 addressed.
- ACID-4751: Configuration Tool compatibility on SQL 2008/2008R2 fixed.
- ACID-3320: Fixed the issue with inability to download failed records from the General Ledger upload screen.
- ACID-4893: Fixed AUC load failure from UI.
- ACID-5185: Upgrade Subscriber issue resolved.
- ACID-2597: Display issues in PA5G UI addressed.
- ACID-3055: DataSize for Float columns issue resolved during lookup table creation.
- ACID-3606: Performance issues in AUC loading a single dimension fixed.
- ACID-3677: Improved status reset logic during AUC execution.
- ACID-6726: SQL join issue impacting AAA Cube values corrected.
- ACID-10175: Added warning for deleting Global records to prevent data loss.
- ACID-9295: Improved performance for GL Accounts Excel Upload when exceeding 100,000 records.
- ACID-9470: Fixed cost allocation issues not splintering properly to lower cost objects.
Known Issues
- Odd results in cost allocations occur with mixed corporate and facility costs.
- Deleting Globals records leads to erasure of all transaction data in PA5G.
- GL->RP Allocation Excel Upload fails with identical GL account names.
Upgrade and Installation Notes
- Ports Required: Ensure TCP port 1433 is open in the firewall.
- Database Compatibility: Must be set to “SQL Server 2012 (110).”
- Installer Instructions: Run installer from a local machine, unzipped, with elevated permissions.
