This release resolves several issues reported by users:

  • Issue with hand check creation causing runtime errors.
  • Error messages appearing upon opening CORT for users on older SQL Server versions.
  • System freezes during the full compute process.
  • Problems with spouse information retrieval.
  • 401K deductions were not calculated correctly.
  • Incorrect local tax code calculations for Pennsylvania state.
  • Issues with employee deductions going to 401K instead of direct deposit.

  • NVPCID-772: Resolved the issue of failing to create hand checks by adding filter criteria to prevent runtime errors.
  • NVPCID-781: Rectified error messages encountered due to SQL upgrade scripts incompatible with older SQL server versions.
  • NVPCID-782: Addressed the system freeze during full compute by reverting back changes that caused the issue.
  • NVPCID-776: Enhanced retrieval of spouse information by switching data sources for improved accuracy.
  • NVPCID-701: Fixed the 401K deduction logic to ensure correct calculations.
  • NVPCID-783: Adjusted tax calculations for PA state to correct issues arising from earlier updates.
  • NVPCID-787: Updated logic to prevent all amounts from being directed to 401K rather than direct deposits.
  • NVPCID-789: Fixed runtime errors occurring in the Employee Master Record by declaring missing variable references.

Updated Components

Please run the new installer to update CORT Classic Payroll. It is advised to replace Integrated Utilities components with the latest version if running an integrated system.
