Introduction

We are pleased to share the release notes for the Prologic Point of Sale version 8.2.5.

Summary

Features

There are no new features introduced in this version. The focus is on fixing existing bugs to improve user experience.

Bug Fixes

  • PROLOGICCID-1631: Fixed an issue where promotion names were not displayed on Series 8 PoS terminals despite the product being part of an active promotion.
  • PROLOGICCID-1647: Resolved a display problem where the receipt of a held transaction was shown in barcode number format instead of the correct format.
  • PROLOGICCID-1676: Addressed an error shown when logging into PoS after viewing the “PoS Date/Time” section.
  • PROLOGICCID-1679: Fixed the transaction screen loading issue that occurred after accessing “PoS Date/Time.”
  • PROLOGICCID-1692: Resolved an issue where mouse scroll actions in a VNC session would crash the VNC connection.

Known Issues

While significant improvements have been made, some known issues persist within the system:

  • Error with scanner and import quantity exceeding limits.
  • Slow performance reported in specific programs after upgrades.
  • Display inconsistencies in customer order data.
