Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the KONFIG 2016 Update 1.

Summary

The main changes in this release include enhancements to security, bug fixes, and updates to system compatibility.

Features

• Support for Tomcat 6.0.24, Java 1.6.0_18, and Oracle 11g added.
• Enhanced full-text search capabilities supporting DOCX and XLSX files.
• Flexible workflows and event listeners using Groovy scripting are now available.
• New convenience functions added to the bAPI for easier data management.

Bugfixes

• Resolved issues with locking and unlocking components.
• Corrections made to folder reference links.
• Fixed a bug preventing users from adding more than 998 items to a typed link.
• Corrected problems in the Workflow Designer regarding display text handling.

Security Enhancements

Security vulnerabilities have been addressed:

• Resolved vulnerabilities related to SSL vulnerabilities and cross-site scripting.
