Prologic Point of Sale Release Notes - Version 8.2.4

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Point of Sale Series 8.2.4.

Summary

The release includes important bug fixes aimed at enhancing the functionality and performance of the Prologic Point of Sale system.

Features

This release improves the display of logos on receipts, ensuring they are visible on all layouts and larger where previously included.

Bugfixes

Two key fixes are implemented in this release:

• Receipt Format Adjustment: Receipt formats have been amended to display the logo on all layouts and also to display a larger logo where previously included (PROLOGICCID-1648).
• Credit Notes Printing: An issue that prevented credit notes from printing correctly when issued as full refunds against sales returns has been resolved (PROLOGICCID-1662).

Known Issues

The following known issues are recognized in the Head Office CIMS and Point of Sale products:

• Error with Scanner: Displays an error when attempting to process imports (PROLOGICCID-104).
• Security Level Definition: A lack of option to define security levels at the Form and Block level (PROLOGICCID-1054).
• Stock Related Issue: Ongoing stock related concerns (PROLOGICCID-1184).
• Performance and Processing Errors: Several performance issues have been identified that affect various functionalities across the system.
