We are happy to share the release notes for the KONFIG 2014 Standard Edition

Summary

The main changes include multiple enhancements, bug fixes, and update support across various system functionalities.

Features

• Make Date Attribute Optional: The date attribute is now optional, allowing greater flexibility in object management.
• Color Active Branch: Users can now distinguish between active branches in a repository with color coding.
• Enable Search by File Name: Users can search for files by their names, enhancing the search capabilities of the platform.
• Add Status Indicator: A status indicator shows that KONFIG is still processing when performing functions like listing items.

Bugfixes

• Issues related to file viewing have been fixed.
• Incomplete or missing security assignments (roles) to users has been corrected.
• Setup of blank passwords is no longer permitted.
• Session time-out exceptions have been addressed.

No administrative tasks have changed with this release.

• Database Schema: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R1, 2003 SP2; Sun Solaris 10; Oracle 11g RDBMS.
• KONFIG Web Application: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R1, 2003 SP2; Sun Java JDK 1.6.0_18; Apache Tomcat 6.0.24.
