We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Head Office version 9.2.12.

Summary

This release includes a total of 13 updates: 5 bug fixes and 8 new features aimed at improving system performance and user experience.

Features

  • CIMS Interface Enhancement: Allows changes to the "Suspended" flag for Tasks.
  • BIP Report Enhancements: Retains manually entered field values after clicking the "preview" button using the new control parameter BIP_FORM_RETAIN_PARAMETERS.
  • Size Limit Checks: Implemented checks for size limits when setting parameter values in the Master Control Table (Form CV1A).
  • Automatic Updates: Resolved issues with automatic updates not being applied on the 'Plans' tab on form AR0A.
  • Logging Enhancements: Integration of Apache Log4j library for logging in the Java service used to call BI Publisher reports.
  • Movement ID Query: Enhanced functionality in Form DE7Y to query by Movement ID.
  • Improved Logs Rotation: Enhanced logs rotation to include XDI logs processing.
  • Short Pick Processing: Enhanced routine "cancel_short_pick_details" to only process currently active short picks.

Bugfixes

  • Stock Error Resolved: Fixed an issue where an error message was incorrectly displayed for insufficient stock.
  • CDI Import Table Fix: Resolved an issue where the cdi_pos_grp_voucher table was not cleared as expected post-import.
  • Error Resolution in Product Size Range: Fixed failures related to the d7d-1.exe utility (Amend a Product's Size Range).
  • Order Creation Error Fixed: Resolved error related to unique constraint violations during order creation.
  • Performance Improvements: Enhanced performance of the Roll-Up All Sales program.

Known Issues

Currently, there is an issue with launching CIMS, which may be blocked by Java security due to an expired security certificate.

Client Setup Recommendations

This document serves as an updated guide on client PC browser recommendations for running CIMS Version 9. It is advised to use Windows 7 or 8 with supported browsers (Internet Explorer 11 or Firefox 31+). Java 1.7.0 update 55 or above is required for optimal performance.
