Infobright DB PostgreSQL 2019.1 Release Notes

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Infobright DB PostgreSQL 2019.1.

Summary

This release is a maintenance update with significant improvements and bug fixes.

New Features

• Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016 has been added.
• Performance enhancements for the ibextmigrator tool in both single and multiple table use cases:
• [INFOBRIGHT-5669] - Improved performance for single table migrations.
• [INFOBRIGHT-5790] - Enhanced performance for multiple table migrations.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved issue [INFOBRIGHT-5791] where licenses for Infobright PostgreSQL 5.0.X were not valid for the 2018.1 release.
• Several internal defects have also been fixed to improve overall stability.

• Operating systems supported include:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 (64-bit)
• RHEL/CentOS 7 (64-bit)
• RHEL/CentOS 6 (32/64-bit)
• Debian 8 (64-bit)
• Debian 6 (64-bit)
• Suse 11 (64-bit)

Important Note: Bug fixes will not be provided for Debian 6 after December 31, 2019, and for RHEL/CentOS 6 (32/64-bit) after December 31, 2020.
