Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Everest Standard version 8.0.27.

Summary

This release includes several important fixes and enhancements aimed at improving user experience and system performance.

Features

No new features were introduced in this release. The focus was on fixing identified issues.

Bugfixes

• Resolved issue with double-line printing displaying incorrect data for multiple sales invoices (EVCID-18394, EVCID-18477).
• Fixed the ability to find documents using document numbers (EVCID-18416).

System Requirements

Hardware

Minimum hardware requirements are as follows:

• Workstation: Intel/AMD 64bit CPU, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB free hard drive space, DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher, 100 MB Ethernet or above.
• Server: Intel/AMD 64bit CPU, 16 GB RAM, 40 GB free hard drive space (dependent on database capacity), GB Ethernet NIC or above.

Software

Required software configurations:

• Certified: Windows Server 2016 with .NET Framework 4.5, Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1909, MS SQL Server 2016 SP1 Standard, Magento Open Source 2.2.3.
• Supported: Windows Server 2012 R2, various Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise versions, MS SQL 2016/2017 Standard or Enterprise, Magento Open Source 2.1.8.

Magento eCommerce Integration

Integration with Magento eCommerce is supported through a Magento Connector that must be installed on the Everest Server along with the Everest API. Please consult the Everest eCommerce User Guide for detailed instructions.

Installation or Upgrade

To install or upgrade to this release, please create a Zendesk ticket to obtain the download credentials or to arrange for our Managed Upgrade team to assist you. Note that a clean install is required to upgrade from version 7.1.0 and beyond, and appropriate licensing information should be gathered prior to proceeding.
