Release Notes for Prologic Head Office Version 9.0.3

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Head Office version 9.0.3.

Summary

This release includes significant updates aimed at enhancing the functionality and user experience. Specifically, it features three new capabilities and addresses 19 reported issues to improve overall software stability.

New Features

  • PROLOGICCID-1998: Enhanced Export Stock Adjustment for non-channelised Stock Types, effective only when the Channel field is null.
  • PROLOGICCID-2000: Improvements to Warehouse Transfer Import to prevent the creation of new shortage work units when items do not have available stock, along with clear error messages in case of insufficient stock.
  • PROLOGICCID-2004: Updates to Closed Carton Dispatch Notes to display the currency alphabetic code instead of the currency symbol.

Bug Fixes

A total of 19 bug fixes have been implemented, addressing issues such as:

  • PROLOGICCID-1746: Fix to the Home Shopping Order Dispatch Notes failing with error when item numbers exceed a limit.
  • PROLOGICCID-1836: Resolution of channelization error occurring for unnecessary store to warehouse movements.
  • PROLOGICCID-1924: Improved handling of single quotes in scheduled program text fields to prevent issues in execution.
  • PROLOGICCID-2018: Fix applied to ensure reports return data even when errors exist in reception importing.

Known Issues

The following known issues have been identified:

  • PROLOGICCID-1666: Import errors associated with records having non-null values in specific fields.
  • PROLOGICCID-1730: Gift vouchers incorrectly marked as redeemed.
  • PROLOGICCID-2101: Problems issuing partial refunds on credit notes.

System Requirements

CIMS Version 9 operates on Oracle technologies, enhancing user interface and maintaining compatibility with previous versions. Both server hardware and software configurations are optimized for performance.
