We are happy to share the release notes for the CORT Classic Payroll V8.5 October Update.

Summary

The October 2015 update introduces important bug fixes for the CORT Classic Payroll application to improve overall functionality and efficiency.

Resolved Issues

The following key issues have been resolved in this release:

  • NVCheckfeed Issue: Corrected alpha numeric employee number validation process which previously resulted in zero checks being sent for alpha numeric employee numbers.
  • Employee Details Form: Resolved an issue where the form did not display values based on the effective date; the employee reset function has been removed to prevent reset to the current record.
  • Quarterly Worksite Statistics: Updated to accurately select statistics based on effective dates instead of the current plant name.
  • Employee Number Change Error: Fixed an error that occurred while updating user data tables during employee number changes.
  • MTD Total Calculation: Resolved an issue where the MTD total was zero when selecting the RTTRK division due to extra spaces in validation checks.
  • Form 941 Addition: Added Form 941 for 2015 to the CORT Classic product, ensuring compliance with quarterly federal reporting requirements.
  • Undo Functionality in Time Import: Addressed an issue causing the undo function for time imports not to work; corrected by setting proper timesheet group values.
