Introduction
We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Head Office version 8.9.
Summary
The main changes in this release include four new features and numerous bug fixes that enhance the overall functionality and performance of the Prologic Head Office application.
New Features
- Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) Enhancement: The ability to manually add store addresses on receipts during the first deployment has been introduced to improve the receipt printing process (CID: PROLOGICCID-1492).
- In-Transit Goods Reservation: This release enables the creation and management of reservations for goods in transit to warehouses (CID: PROLOGICCID-1499). Enhancements to this feature allow for prioritized selection of multiple warehouses and stock types during replenishment.
- Automatic Receipts Creation: Automatic receipts can now be created against the oldest outstanding dockets for reservations selected for conversion into allocations (CID: PROLOGICCID-1500).
- Reservation to Allocation Conversion: This feature converts reservations into allocations and allows for the processing of despatches in the state of "RESV" (CID: PROLOGICCID-1501).
Bug Fixes
The release includes 21 bug fixes aimed at correcting various issues reported by customers and discovered internally:
- WS0W Stock Query Fix: Resolved an issue where the Channel Level Stock Query was incorrect when stock was in transit (CID: PROLOGICCID-567).
- Docket Duplication Fix: Fixed a problem where the last row of dockets was getting duplicated when created against tracked sales orders (CID: PROLOGICCID-1433).
- Performance Improvement: Addressed a sluggish response time issue in CIMS when selecting a sortation bay (CID: PROLOGICCID-1370).
- Database Lock Issues: Fixed an issue causing database locks in various forms when opened in edit mode (CID: PROLOGICCID-1538).
- Polling Actions: Improved the polling functions to ensure records are deleted as expected and resolved issues with polling validation failures (CID: PROLOGICCID-1542).
