We are happy to share the release notes for the Prologic Head Office version 8.7.3.

Summary

The main changes in this release include the introduction of new features, multiple bug fixes, and various enhancements impacting the data quality and report generation. This version aims to improve user experience and efficiency in handling key functionalities through various modules.

New Features

This release introduces two significant new features:

• Data Pump Utility: A new data pump utility has been introduced into the export routine for customers running a daily export of the live CIMS database, facilitating faster export times.
• Enhanced Reports: The picking list on the style/colour report (RP0C-2) has been enhanced to support text format, improving the accessibility of report data.

Bug Fixes

A total of 17 critical bug fixes have been implemented, including:

• Fixed validation issues related to dependent value fields in reports (CID-1098).
• Resolved sorting issues in reports AR2B and RV3A-2 that affected data presentation (CID-1233 and CID-1234).
• Addressed performance issues with the u0p process that previously took around 6 hours to complete (CID-1239).
• Corrected issues related to email handling in the Product Invoice form (DI4B) where long email addresses would trigger an error (CID-1243).
• Additional fixes include improvements to report sorting and display issues, user role management, and list values updates throughout the reporting sections.

Known Issues

Some issues may remain unresolved in this release, including:

• Errors related to RF scanners not transferring statuses to CIMS correctly.
• Issues in report generation resulting in omissions of necessary data outputs.
