Gensym G2 2021.4 Release Notes

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Gensym G2 2021.4 version.

Summary

The Gensym G2 2021.4 update is focused on enhancing product quality and addressing key customer issues identified in previous releases. This version continues to support both Standard and Enterprise Editions of the G2 platform.

Changes in Release

This release includes improvements in product quality and addresses three customer-identified issues from version 2021.3.

Licensing Changes

It is important to note that the G2 server will shut down the next day after the license expires.

Key Issues Addressed

• GENSYMCID-12759: Fixed an error related to the latest date modification function when using extended character sets in filenames.
• GENSYMCID-12996: Support for RGB color symbols in grid-view cells was added.
• GENSYMCID-13094: Resolved an issue with incorrect color values returned from the Telewindows color picker.
