Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Gensym G2 2021.2.

Summary

The main changes in this release include improvements, bug fixes, and licensing changes.

Features

This release includes two editions: Standard (STD32 & STD64) and Enterprise (ENT). The product defects have been addressed and improvements in product quality have been achieved.

Bugfixes

Several bugs identified by customers and internally have been fixed:

• GENSYMCID-12628: Labels abbreviated - Fixed the wrong ListView type used in the TWNG client.
• GENSYMCID-12812: Missing Auto Hide button - Corrected propagation of Auto Hide settings in GEVM Native browser.
• GENSYMCID-12985: G2 ODBC bridge crashes - Completed porting to 64-bit for G2 database bridges.
• GENSYMCID-12995: GDA error causing memory leak - Ensured float array is deleted on error.
