ObjectStore Standard 2023.1 Release Notes

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the ObjectStore Standard 2023.1, an update to ObjectStore 2013.0 update 25.

Summary

The primary updates in this release include new feature support for Visual Studio 2022 and Windows Server 2022, along with several resolved issues to enhance performance and stability.

New Features

• Visual Studio 2022 (up to version 17.2) support introduced.
• Windows Server 2022 support has been added.
• New environment variable OS_SERVER_RESERVE_MEMORY that allows reserving memory for emergency conditions during server operation.

Resolved Issues

• Removed obsolete assertion in objectstore::shutdown().
• Fixed osverifydb bug for improved performance in fast mode with many bad pointers.
• Corrected dllschema link error on Windows for MSVC2017.
