Everest Standard v8.0.35 Release Notes

Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for the Everest Standard version 8.0.35 released on June 21, 2021.

Summary

The main changes in this release address several bugs, enhance system requirements, and improve integration capabilities with Magento eCommerce.

Features

This version focuses on resolving various customer-reported issues to ensure a smoother user experience and stability of the application.

Bugfixes

The following defects have been addressed in this release:

• Fixed an error when adding too many customer accounts in the 'Find order' filter (Issue EVCID-20413).
• Resolved an issue where a customer's contact address profile could not be saved if it had the secret question field populated (Issue EVCID-20419).

System Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to ensure optimal performance:

Hardware Requirements

• Workstation Server: Intel/AMD 64bit CPU, 4 GB memory, 40 GB free space, DirectX 9 compatible graphics device, and 100 MB Ethernet or above.
• Server: Intel/AMD 64bit CPU, 16 GB memory, and 40 GB free space depending on database capacity.

Software Requirements

Required software includes:

• Operating System (Server): Windows Server 2016 with .NET Framework 4.5 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
• Workstation: Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1909, Windows 10 Pro x64, Windows 10 Enterprise x64.
• Database: MS SQL Server 2016 SP1 or MS SQL 2016/2017 Standard or Enterprise.
• Magento eCommerce Integration: Magento Open Source 2.2.3 or Magento Open Source 2.1.8.
• 32-bit MAPI Integration: Outlook 2016 32-bit with the latest updates.

Magento eCommerce Integration

The Magento Connector is developed to support the integration of the Everest System with the Magento eCommerce solution. For deployment, the Connector must be installed on the Everest Server along with Everest API, and a Magento extension must be deployed into the Magento system. For further details, please consult the Everest eCommerce User Guide.

Installation Instructions

To obtain the latest version of the Everest Standard, customers can create a Zendesk ticket to either receive download credentials or arrange for the Managed Upgrade team to help schedule an installation.

Note: Installers were rewritten in version 7.1.0, and a clean install is required for this version.
